Fire Resistant Intumescent Sealant

A range of Intumescent acrylic and graphite sealants designed to resist the passage of both fire and sound. In a fire the sealant will expand and form a char that produces a smoke seal. In normal use it will maintain the sound reduction index of the structure.

The sealant can provide up to 4 hours fire resistance depending on the depth, width and volumetric area. Commonly used to seal gaps around doors, window frames, voids and sealing joints. It is excellent at maintaining the integrity when sealing around pipes and cables that penetrate them.
