Fireplug FPG Intumescent Grilles- 60 minute fire rating

Firelug FPG: Free air flow has been calculated to give a minimum of 50% for a 100 x 100mm - Rising to 76% and higher for a 300 x 300mm and upwards.
Description
 
Fireplug FPG Intumescent Grilles are made to order so can be supplied in any size. 

Fireplug FP louvered face plates are made in 50mm increments ranging from 100mm x 100mm and are normally 30mm larger in both height and width than the FPG intumescent grille to allow for surface mounting. Standard colour is white, other colours and stainless steel are available on request.
Action
 
A durable Intumescent Grille which is easily mounted in fire doors providing 60 minutes fire protection.

Under the action of heat, the openings seal up to prevent the passage of hot gases and toxic fumes.
 
Performance
 
Fireplug FPG & FPCG grilles are available for one hour fire resistance and were tested at Chiltern Fire Laboratories under Test No. Chilt/IF05088 & IF11025A.

Tested to BS EN 1634 & BS476 Part 20 achieving one hour fire resistance.  Test documents are available on request.
 
Application
 
Fireplug FPG Intumescent Fire Grilles are designed to suit most fire doors. Simply cut a hole in the door to give a tight fit around the FPG, a bead of intumescent sealant can be place around the perimeter of the FPG, between the grille and timber, to seal the surrounds if required. Fireplug pressed steel louvered face plates can now be surface mounted each side of Fireplug FPG Intumescent Fire Grille.
