OBEX CORTEX 0240FR Rapid Tray DPC - Class A2
The OBEX 0240FR RapidTray system is a highly flexible and adaptable DPC solution, achieving a Class A2 fire classification. The product is also available in an alternative variant specifically for use as a cavity tray – 0241FR (See 0241FR TDS) – which has an integrated stainless steel fixing strip for faster and easier installation when used as a cavity tray system.
It has been designed and tested in accordance with British Standards with all overlap joints having a minimum of 100mm bond width adhered together with tapes rather than adhesives for a cleaner and more cost effective solution.
This Class A2 DPC is certified and approved for use with accompanying third party certification issued by KIWA BDA. Athough it’s primary use is as a DPC, it is also fully certified for use as a cavity tray between two skins of masonry.
This product complies with Approved Document B, Regulation 7, Paragraph 2 – materials which become part of the external wall, or specified attachment, of a relevant building are of European Classification A2-s1,d0 or A1
