5L of Rockwool fire and acoustic intumescent sealant for linear joints. Fire and smoke can penetrate even the smallest of gaps within a building. Small gaps and imperfections of fit can leave a property vulnerable to the risk of fire and smoke spread.

As part of Rockwool’s FirePro range of fire protection products, The Acoustic Intumescent Sealant, is an excellent solution for sealing joints and service gaps. The Rockwool Firepro Acoustic intumescent sealant can provide up to 4 hours of fire protection to the exposed joints (within the correct system) but not only that the sealant has a weighted sound reduction index of up to 57db, allowing acoustic goals to be satisfied.

Acoustic Intumescent Sealant has been tested to BS EN 1366-3: 2009 and BS EN 1366-4: 2006 +A1:2010 and can provide up to 4 hours* fire protection in joints up to 30mm.
