Kingspan K-Stop® Shuttering Batt is used to fully shutter floor openings. It is used as a forming material when installing fire stopping mortar within service penetration seals.

The batt is supported in place using timber or metal and cut to fit the opening. Any gaps should be filled with cut pieces of the batt to ensure full coverage.

Once the fire stopping mortar has been installed and set, the shuttering batt may be left in place or removed.
