Intumescent Protection Wood Coating

Pyroplast Wood T intumescent coating is for use on internal timber and wood derivatives.  It allows timber to be protected against flame spread while retaining its natural appearance. 

There are many areas where Pyroplast Wood T can be used including timber panelling, walls and ceilings.  It can be used on softwoods, hardwoods and timber derivatives.

Certification: BS EN 13823 & BS EN 11925-2 SBI Euro class B-s1-d0 (equivalent to UK Class 0, BS467:Part6 & BS476:Part7).   Building Regulations: Euroclass certifications are formally incorporated into Approved Document B and regulations in the UK are legally bound to accept them in lieu of national test methods (which are also still permitted).

Pyroplast Wood T is applied with two coats of basecoat and one coat of protective matt topseal.  It is important to allow sufficient drying time between basecoat and topseal and provided the instructions of use are followed leaves an exceptional finish with the peace of mind a compatible fire protective system has been applied.
